Weight Loss Assessment and Prescription-only Weight Loss Medication
You will be seen and assessed by Dr Vas Kavadas who is a weight management doctor. Everyone she sees is monitored on a regular basis throughout their weight loss journey, as she is directly contactable for advice and support in between appointments. There is no extra charge for this as it is a important part of the support she offers. As well as dietary and lifestyle advice and support, prescription medication may be offered.

Free introductory appointment
We offer a complimentary 20–30 minute initial consultation by phone or secure video, providing a convenient and discreet way to explore whether our approach to weight management is right for you.

Initial assessment appointment
This will be a detailed consultation and assessment that may last up to 60 minutes. You may want to have some blood tests which the doctor can do in the clinic.* The doctor will discuss the treatment options with you and together you will then decide on the best treatment pathway for you.
If your treatment includes prescription medication such as weight loss injections (Mounjaro or Wegovy), you will be issued with a prescription and the medication will be delivered directly to you or provided by the clinic if you are seen in person. The doctor will then see you again either remotely or face-to-face to show you how to carry out your injections so you can start your treatment.

4 weekly assessment appointment
For the first 4-6 months the doctor will see you either face-to-face or remotely every 4 weeks after starting your weight loss journey. She will carry out an assessment and adjust your treatment plan depending on how you are feeling and how you have progressed towards your target weight. If you are on prescription medication she will issue a repeat prescription.

8-12 weekly assessment appointment
After you have reached your target weight or are managing the medication well, the doctor may not need to see you every 4 weeks to monitor your response to treatment. She may only need to see you for a full review every 8-12 weeks depending on how you are getting on. That is a decision you would make together.

Blood tests* may need to be carried out at 24 weeks to ensure it is safe for you to continue to be on medication if that is what your weight loss plan involves.
£75 for every review and from £120** for 4 weeks of prescription weight loss medication
*If you have had blood tests in the past few months we may not need to repeat these. If they are needed they can be carried out in the clinic, or at home with a fingerprick testing kit sent directly to you. Prices start at £70 depending on which tests may be needed. This will be discussed at the free introductory appointment so you know what to expect.
